That’s why Wysopal Wealth exists; to analyze and optimize your financial life so you can focus on living your best life — at every stage.

What to Expect

Finding ways to make equity work best for your life — for all of life’s stages.

Here’s how we get started.

Prospective Clients

Intro & Discovery

  • In this 30-minute intro call we’ll get to know each other and determine if we’re a good fit. If we both agree that there’s value in continuing the conversation, we’ll schedule a no-commitment Insights & Opportunities meeting to explore potential strategies for you. Before the Insights & Opportunities meeting, I’ll ask you to provide a few key documents. I’ll analyze your financial picture in advance so we can have a meaningful discussion.

  • On this call, we’ll take a look at where you are today, identify where I can add value to your situation, and discuss how I can help you get where you want to be. If you choose to move forward, I’ll send over our Advisory Contract for you to sign and we’ll schedule your Get Organized Call to kick off the planning process.

New Clients

Foundational Planning:
Year One

  • In this meeting we’ll review the documents you've shared with me and cover any questions you may have. If you’re missing any documents, I’ll help you collect those. We’ll also review your tech stack and answer your platform-related questions.

  • Before I can solve for the hows, I need to understand your whys. We’ll use a three-meeting cadence, prioritizing what’s most important to you, to deliver your financial plan with clear recommendations and action items. Those meetings consist of:

    Meeting 1: Establishing Your Vision
Meeting 2: Cashflow, Equity, and Taxes
Meeting 3: Investments, Risk Management, and Estate Planning

  • This may be the most important step: taking action. One of my biggest responsibilities at Wysopal Wealth is to be your accountability partner. Life gets busy and things can slip through your fingers. We’ll follow up and meet to make sure your recommendations and action items get put into place and you're feeling confident about your plan.

Established Clients

Ongoing Planning:
Year Two and Beyond

  • At the beginning of the year, we’ll schedule a meeting to discuss updates with your financial plan and your personal goals. We’ll also use this time to cover any questions and concerns, and tie up loose ends on open tasks.

  • I’ll kick this off by reaching out to request your tax return. Once I have it, I’ll analyze the return for accuracy and deliver a digestible breakdown.

*This meeting could take place at a later date if you’re on extension.

  • In the summer months, I’ll continue to collect tax documents and update your tax projections. Expect a meeting to cover your financial plan updates along with reviewing your insurance and estate plans.

  • In preparation for the end of the year, I’ll update your tax projection for the final time and we’ll explore year-end tax planning opportunities.

For clients paying AUM (assets under management), I’ll assist in making year-end contributions.

Complexity-Based Pricing

My fee structure is designed to match the complexity of your situation.

Pricing with me is transparent: no commissions, hidden fees, or referral payments. This ensures my advice always aligns with your best interests. Here’s how my fees work:

  • My financial planning fees are complexity-based, but don't worry — I’ve made it straightforward:

    • For Single Individuals: Starting at $6,500 annually

    • For Couples: Starting at $8,000 annually

    If you have equity compensation:

    • Restricted Stock (RSUs, RSAs, GSUs, etc.): Add $300

    • Stock Options (ISOs, NSOs): Add $700

For example, if you’re married and have Non-Qualified Stock Options (NSOs), your total financial planning fee would be $8,700 annually.

*Note: Planning fees will not exceed $15,000 a year.

  • While it’s not required to manage assets with me, I believe a fully tuned financial plan works best when everything is integrated — financial planning, investments, and taxes all in sync. My investment management fees are tiered to reward growth.

Assets Under Management Annual Advisory Fee:
$0 - $250,000: Included without an additional fee
    $250,001 - $1,000,000: 0.80%
    $1,000,001 - $2,000,000: 0.65%
    $2,000,001 - $5,000,000: 0.50%
    $5,000,001 and Above: 0.35%

  • I believe that your loyalty should be rewarded as you entrust more of your assets to me.

    • Financial Planning Fee 50% Discount: Clients with $750,000+ in managed assets.

    • No Financial Planning Fee: Assets under management exceed $4,000,000.

For example, the Thompsons are a married couple with NSOs, so their financial planning fee starts at $8,700 annually. They begin by bringing over $200,000 in AUM, then later bring an additional $750,000, bringing their total AUM to $950,000.

    • Original Financial Planning Fee: $8,700

    • Discounted Financial Planning Fee: $4,350
